Between my first visit with the surgeon and my second visit on June 30, there was no contact with the endocrinologist.
I did however, have a well woman check up and a bone density test done in June. Now, we get to add osteoporosis to my list of diagnosis.
I have to tell you here that waiting is hard. I have never been a very patient person but I will also tell you that in the waiting, I continued to find peace and a stronger relationship and reliance on God. There is nothing quite like being helpless and waiting to cause one to turn to Him. Sometimes that is what it takes...being stopped to wait and be quite.
Praise God, He had me stopped and I felt His presence all through my wait.
During my second visit with the surgeon, I was directed to the person who would schedule my surgery. Due to the surgeon having surgery himself, my schedule and a much wanted and anticipated family vacation/reunion, we selected August 1 as my surgery date.
