Everyone wants a successful business no matter what it looks like to them. It takes a vision and as a Christian woman, you know that vision comes from God. He gives you everything you need to create, sustain and grow your business for His glory. So, why do so many Christian Business Women struggle to grow their business? In my opinion and from my own experiences, it is because you don’t feel worthy enough. You don’t feel confident in your God-given talents and abilities. You don’t trust what God says about you and your prospective clients sense that in you.
Most of us offer very similar if not the same products and services. So, why would someone choose to buy from you? People buy from people they know, like and trust. If you don’t trust yourself, why would anyone else trust you? If you don’t feel confident in who you are, people sense that.
How can you be the most bold, beautiful, confident, content woman on the face of the planet? It takes trust and knowing who you are in God. Let’s unwrap what God say says about you and why you should feel confident in who you are in Him.
I Timothy 4:4 says “Everything God created is good, and to be received with thanks. Nothing is to be sneered at and thrown out. God’s Word and our prayers make every item in creation holy.”
Psalms 139:13-16 says “Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something.”
God not only created you good, He marvelously made you. What does that mean? Well, Webster online dictionary defines marvelous as “of the highest kind or quality.” God made you the way He wants you to be. He made you in His image. He knew you before you were even a twinkle in your mother’s eye.
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:27 (NIV)
Know, trust and accept how much God loves you and how much He wants you to shine your unique light and leave your unique fingerprints on the world. If you don’t do it, others will miss what you are supposed to tell them.
Really internalize who you are in God. You are His child and You are loved by Him. He wants you to know just how beautiful and complete you are in Him. This is how you gain confidence to grow your business.
